I put a new caliper on the back of my mk3 mondeo last year as it had siezed. Got through the MOT fine and have just noticed that it has siezed open again
It was only a cheapy off ebay so can't say I'm too surprised.
I'm looking for a pair of new ones and probably some new cables while I'm at it. Can anyone recommend me some decent calipers? I don't mind spending a bit more to get something that will last but don't want to pay Ford prices (£150 + vat each
) as the car is only my daily shitter!!
Cheers

I replaced both my back ones last year, sure they were branded as Budweg...no complaints, and i think it was around £50/caliper, or maybe slightly less. GSF do the re-manufactured bosch ones for around £60 iirc.
My main problem were there the cables were rusted inside...turned out the old calipers weren't actually that bad once i snipped the cables, still replaced them anyway lol
