I'm looking for 18" x 8 OR 9" (if 9 fit ??)
I don't want rondel or Engels tho!! Love them but its just too common!
I would love to try some bbs style wheels on it but would have to buy them to try them!! Was gonna just sell my standard wheels n buy calibre vintage but maybe they will look toss......... Any good pics/ suggestions would really help .... Thanks all

Not many wheels go well with the Escort. Too bling and the car looks chav, too small it looks silly under the big arches.

Most of the wheels that go with the Escort are very hard to come by now. I have ash black and have Engels on her. In my eyes, it looks spot on. I would change for dark grey comp mos but that is about it really. Unless you 5 stud conversion and go BBS LM's like above. Not much else works with it

 

What u think of the bbs LM replica wheels??
I know people say no to reps but its only for the strength factor usually, n every1 has the rondels which I love, but are made of monkey metal n crack just like reps..... So surely if u put up with rondels , then reps should be fine??

 

I have the Dare LM rep's on my golf, pretty strong, never bent or cracked one, unlike my RS7 spokes on the cossie that were made from cream cheese.

 

I had original Rondels on my old Escort Cosworth and they was soft. One was like an egg.

I now have the engels and they have stood up to some punishment fine. Alot stronger.

Yea Engels are far stronger !! Its a joke how weak the rondels are!! Worse than even the cheapest copy wheels !!!

 

I think comps look the tits, just far too common is my issue! I want summit different from the usual crowd !!
