adding vac pipe herecan help with on boost fuelling. theynormally tee it into one of the small diameter pipesthat come off the top of the inlet. they didn't leave the factory like this though, its something people did to achieve correct afr's when running more boost. most people run efi now though

Yes DON'T do that unless it's done by a tuner, you'll be lean off boost and rich on! lol

In addition to this you also lose barometric correction.

yea, my tuner did this to get the fuelling safe at 1 bar. its not something that people recommend doing though. unless you have equipment to moniter the fuelling and a (rolling road) and know what your dealing with id leave well alone.

Which tuner was this?

I dont think it needs to be touched regardless of boost/power level.

Unless you're at a particularly high altitude and its making things awkward.
