Default speed camera detectors ????

Hi,

I want to get a speed camera detector but I dont want to spend hundreds, all I want is one that does the basics such as stationary cameras and the radar gun things that police hide in the bushes with !! Whats the best one to get for as cheap as possible

I've got a Snooper SD815 and it aint too bad. It does have a few false alarms but you should only use these gizmo's as an extra to your own vigilance not instead of.
Phoney Tony is banning all none GPS based detecters though. Statistics state that detector users are involved in 75% fewer accidents. It's not about the money though, remember

cheers for the replies, I know that snooper do quite a few but Im unsure which is the best. A lot of them state what type of cameras they detect but I havnt a clue what they mean. What type of cameras are the static ones and the radar guns that the police use ?

bit too expensive for me !!!

I was thinking of either the sd715is, sd815is or the S3.

Ive been looking at the type of cameras these detect but Im unsure, what type of camera are the ones that police stand at the side of the road with ?

so out of my three choices the S3 is the only legal one, yes ?
