Hi guys,
I know it's not an Escort RST but I've just got myself a new daily driver mk4 Escort cabby and I am wanting to change the suspension.
The car is currently running on standard suspension but it looks and feels like it's been lowered using cut springs (I can't complain as my Dad gave it to me for free!
). Anyway - I want to change the suspension setup to something a bit higher and more sorted, looking to spend between £200 and £300 tops.
Anybody got any recommendations as I know that I need to get correctly specced springs to match with the struts due to the car's extra weight.
Cheers,
Andy

I suggest either stretching to a Koni/Bilstein set up or go for a standard Ford set up.
There are some budget set ups but you get what you pay for and may not be any better than the standard Ford shockers (which are origionally Bilstein IIRC).

I don't mind changing back to standard - I use the car daily so it would be quite nice to keep my coxix in one piece!
