I have a 1987 2 door mk4 escort 1.3 bonus
I have a complete 1.8 blacktop Zetec engine with all ancillaries full car complete wiring loom, ecu, pats unit, fuse box, key with the chip completely stripped the focus it came from and I want to put into the escort and run the engine on bike carbs.
What I'm stuck on is what carbs are best to be used for this engine and how do I go about getting the carbs re jetted.
Does the engine fit in with ease ?
Also how would the wiring be done ? Can I keep the 1.3 loom as I'm using carbs and not injection.
My father is a qualified mechanic/welder and we have diagnostic machines and laptops so I just need steering in the right direction on these few questions
