I have built a track car and am at the moment sorting a towing car and a trailer.
I will sort a decent towing vehicle were I can support the track and fit tool box and spare tyres.

The question is were can I have a decent track day in the north west of England.
The track car is no super car ,so wigan may be suitable.
Were else could I go.
I don't mind initially to go on a old airfield or something like just to get a few test runs going.

Three sisters in Wigan the obvious choice and they seen to have a few track days. Look on there Web site for details. Not much else in our area to be honest that i can think of. There is Anglesy or croft but a bit of a treck. What car you got, get some pics up

 

Its just the st24 on my addi .
Its stripped out with harness bar etc.
I will ring wigan as when I went on there site it just offered sports car hire.

Aintree has 2 or 3 a year plus become a member of a club and you can do the sprint meeting there

St24s ideally need a baffled sump for track days as they can suffer oil starvation on track

 

Its got a st220 sump on.
But its good to know theres other st24 out there on the trax.

I am going to the preston & Garstang club meets at the Lonsdale club in Preston next Tuesday night.
I will ask them when a good time to go to wigan is to have a go there.
