I'll start. Mine needs a few bits of bodywork still. I've put some decals on to be a bit different.

At first wasn't easy but just had to cut the engine mount bracket off the drivers side and make a new one a bit further back. Zetec throttle cable and had to modify the pedal. Wiring for me was a nightmare but my mate came and sorted that. Will be doing a diagram of it soon just incase I need it lol.

I found this a piece of piss to do took engine out sorted mount and fitted rs2000 lump in an mk2 orion mk1 orion and mk4 escort, you can either use your original gearbox or use rs2000 one which is 10/20mm longer if iirc so is tight and you have to trim inner wing, you use the cvh engine mount to fit it but have to adapt it b cutting a bit off of it.
Wiring is a pain in the arse I did 2 different ways;
1st way was to use rs2000 engine loom with pats and wire into standard mk4 loom
2nd way was to use rs2000 removing the pats by using an early rs2000 ecu if you can find one they are rare or have your ecu fucked about with this way was a pain in the arse so on the following engine conversions I reverted back to my 1st way however I did have this car running this way but it was hard work and long winded

This was my first conversion I've done. Yeah I used the non pats. I spent nearly a whole weekend following diagrams on the net that had been done. My mate came round and did it in about an hour lol. I used the 1.6 gearbox. Once on the road I sheared the driveshafts after not even an hour but now have rs turbo ones and touch wood it's been fine.

No bud they will both fit but the S1 has slightly different bolt pattern but still goes in piece of piss I fitted an uprated S1 box with quaif atb for S2 into it as my Rst S2 kept blowing boxes.......

That's my old one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2513165609...84.m1558.l2649

Used a 1.4 cvh box and never had any problems at all.
Killed an RST clutch on it though!
