That's sweet I really don't know how much longer I can resist fucking the fords off and going vag which is a sad thing to say as a massive ford fan :-(
I just feel that there's so much more of a car out there that's in my price range than what I can buy ford wise

People say vag is boring but if not breaking down and wondering what's that noise or can you smell that burning or shit I've to a miss fire again is boring then yes they are very boring

You won't regret it mate
And like others have said you could have vag as everyday nod fix or repair daily for weekends if you can move on

The only thing i don't like about it is it's not very involving to drive, it doesn't like being pushed, granted the wheels and suspension aren't the best set up for that, but it was downright dangerous when it was standard! Wallowed like a drunk elephant.
But i have the cossie for fun driving, so this is great, it also stops me wrecking it like i do when i have a fun cheap car. haha

Easily. Wish I went for 19"s to be honest. It just touches the arches now 5 up. With minor mods 19"a wouldn't be an issue I don't think, depending on tyre size
u still running the standard front ARB set up? my mk4 golf platform octavia is currently wound down to the point my driveshaft is now trying to wear its way thru the ARB and knocking the chassis leg, running same wheel sizes as u on 35 profile tyres. arch scrubbing is the least of my worries
lol
lol
Go on go over to the dark side haha

loving the stance, just looks right.
Here mine, bought 18 months ago, 150 GT TDi, been remaped, done 3 ring trips, daily driver, covered 35k miles, now reading over 190k still drives perfect, 60mpg easily when driven nicely, not spent a penny on it, this is the car that has taken the enjoyment out of the RS world, cause it costs nothing, and just works when I want it, lol
