Default Newbie here :)

Good afternoon to all, my name is James and ive been drawn here to geek it up and get help on my new(old) car.

I last week purchased this ford focus and ive already had trouble boo!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I love the car though, the power actually shocked me to start with but its fuel consumption has caused me to drive steady!

Yesterday i changed the water pump which wasnt bloody easy but the pump was £20 brand new so it was cheap enough, today ive changed the resistor module for the blower as it only worked on 4 :\ need a new window motor and i could do with a haynes manual too. Enjoying doing bits of work to it and ive given it a service too.

So far ive had these parts bought for it:

Resistor Module (blowers)
Oil, and air filter
Oil
Spark Plugs
Water Pump
Rear View mirror
Number Plate
Alternator Belt
Coolant

Needed (optional)
Fuel filter
Couple of wing mirrors
Boot struts
Window motor (driver side)
Couple of center caps
Front bumper splitter
passenger side chair wheel (backrest alteration not possible atm)

The car has a few pumps and quite a bit of scratching but i got the car at quite a bargain price so im willing to put a bit into this to make it look and drive nicely.

Looking forward to doing it going to save up for an ST170 though as after driving this i know that i want that car!

But yeah quite happy

How long did you crank it over for ? It's not unknown to flatten a battery trying to start it after a fuel filter change !

Tried to bump start the car on a good hill Careful not to use the brakes until you have to though as youll pump them to the point where they wont stop you.
