Hi all, just bought myself a mint condition zetec s x reg.

The car has only covered 24k genuine miles

Just wondered for some easy tips to help protect the car and prevent rust etc, want to keep this looking original and mint!

 

Remove rear wheels and strip out rear arch liners. They are crap.

Any dirt on inside or arches clean of and then lots of wax oyl to inside or rear arches, I'd paint it with rush inhibitor first too

The rear arch liners are foam like and retain water which is why they rot so easily.

 

Also remove the rear quarter cards and wax oil the inside of the rear quarter and were it meets the rear arch
