Default Black s2 summer toy

It was my 25th birthday a few weeks back, I woke up and decided I would spend some money and buy a car for the summer while the gti is finnished off, I'd always wanted an rst so after a few over priced nails I found this on the bay. Car started life as a red e reg but was reshelled around two years ago in to what I can say is a very solid bonus. Car is standard engine wise, has a 90 spec front bumper and seats, delocked boot and passenger door and full respray in black the original colour of the bonus. Paint work is Aweful, where the locks used to be has cracked and the engine bay is covered in over spray but I bought this as it is solid.

First job was amber indicators

Second was red and smoked rears

Few different options for wheels

Those would go dark grey

Spent Saturday freshening up the engine bay, amp arp blue rocker cover, satin black charge carrier, blue rmd boost hoses off joe

Plans are to do a 1.8 zvh efi as I've got nearly everything to build the engine then sort the body work. Used twins car this morning for inspiration

Metallic blue

Renault liquid yellow

Gold

Purple (bit boring having two purple cars lol)

Or green with a gold pearl (bit lighter than tvr racing green)

Are you re-spraying it? as its not an RS turbo i'd deffo go for something a little different, i like the yellow. I'm not a fan of the other colours, but gold would be a second choice.

I'm not really a fan of changing the colour of an RS shell, so i'd say go for it.

Also out of the 2 aftermarket alloys, i'd say fit the softspokes.

If it stays black ill use the soft spokes, they won't look right if it's a non standard colour. That's my point tho it's not a genuine car so why stick to a standard colour? Lol the Gti's purple so may as well stick to my roots aha

exactly, do something different. I've always liked Fords Signal yellow and came close to respraying my old XR3i cabriolet this colour.

It's more of just a royal blue, I wouldn't do imperial or performance blue. When I was a kid I always wanted to do an s2 in Citroen Tuscan blue

Before I changed the boost hoses you could hear the turbo sucking hard, after the new hoses were fitted the noise had gone so I assumed I had a major boost leak before? Doesn't seem to be boosting as well now so I took the hoses off to find oil in the hoses and in intercooler?
