Default Compressor housing

Hi all,

Will reducing compressor housing size increase spool-up time?(keeping the same compressor wheel)
I would obviously have to machine the inducer part of smaller comp housing to fit wheel.

Anyone had any experience with this kind of mod?

Cheers for any info.

My best, T

Increase spool up time, as in it will take longer to reach your target boost?
