Hi, i have bought some roof bars + kit to fit to my escort MKVI. According to the instructions there should be some factory drilled holes around the doors for mounting, the bars. Alas i cannot find the holes, someone said they may have been sprayed over, maybe so but can anyone please tell me roughly where to look for these holes, within a few cms. or so. all replies would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. That's what i thought but on looking there are none. For some reason they have been sprayed over. I do not want to start removing layers of paint looking for them, so i was hoping that someone could give me some sort of idea roughly where they are, within a few mm. would be great. So i can remove the paint in that area, only.
