Was in my mates garage and came across a set of these cams, originally supplied by Dome Motorsport . Was wondering if anyone knew the spec on them? Cheers

He could shed a bit of light but didn't know the lift etc.

 

Rally cams, mt23 is a nice rally inlet cam and the 21 I can't remember off my head iirc 23 is 11.25mm and 280ish deg duration I will check tomorrow on that and try find the info on the 21.

I imagine the 21 is a exhaust cam to match the inlet circa 9.5mm and 256deg

Would have been in a group a engine I beleive

The only way you can tell is by looking at the legnth of the nose

right, i wasnt far off.

mt23 is 287deg and 11.237mm lift
mt21 is equal to a k2 cam which is 256 deg and 9.6/7mm lift

ps they should be 4x4 as to get the high comp of the grp engine a 4x4 head was always used (not to mention theyre stronger)

 

Ah thanks again, in essence fitting them to my 2wd then is going to be a nightmare especially when there is a set of 2wd specific mt22's on ebay at decent money?

 

Just be careful with rally cams, they're funny cams and need to be timed very specifically what exactly are you looking to achieve?
