Default Spraying parts in 2k, what gun?

As titled, I am going to finish my sierra with every part either zinc plated or sprayed in 2 pack. Just wondering what gun I should use, and any reccomendations. Would a touch up gun be best for parts as it would give a good finish without much waste? And gravity fed I presume for less waste? Or wouldnt it matter? Any reccomendations? And on the side, after sandblasting parts, how should I make sure there is no silicon particles on the blasted part?

gravity hvlp all the way, touch up guns aren't the best for 2k solid as they have small air caps and 2k solid can be too thick and they just end up getting blocked and end up spitting

It's hard to say without knowing what compressor you have.

Also, as I'm sure you are aware, 2K is a killer. It contains isocyanides. contact with it can/does cause death. You don't just have to breeth this stuff in, it can get into your system through your skin/mouth/eyes etc. You should be wearing a fully air fed mask and a proper spray suit in a correctly ventilated spray booth. If you don't have these I would seriously reconsider the choice of 2K.

Regards, Phil.

Yeah, it is a 2.5hp 200 litre iirc. Will have to check. And yeah, I know about the risks, and all would be done properly. Unless there is a tough self leveling brush paint that's reasonably priced, I will be doing this
