Default Opinions on this wheel Bearing please

Hi all pretty sure Ive been ripped off. Would you say this bearing looks like it was fitted new less than 3 months ago and covered only about 1,600 miles? Judging by the amount of rust and state of it, let alone the fact it failed in a short time I'd say I've been stung!

that bearing could easily be 3 months old and covered the said mileage...its been winter and corrosion to that agree would on a cheap bearing imo

Cheap or faulty bearing. If its only lasted this long, could you not have took it back under warranty ??

But sounds like he paid some one to supply and for bearing so that wouldn't count?

Agreed, but if a garage supplied & fitted it, they should fit another & claim warranty from the supplier. 3 months / 1600 miles ISN'T fair wear & tear.
