Default The daughters '04 Ka!

The Mrs bought this from a family member, just before Christmas for our daughter to start driving when she's 17 at the beginning of April! Nothing special!.. Just a boggo standard Ka. Just gotta tidy bits up, as and when. Already mini serviced the brakes, changed the rear shoes and cleaned off the back plates and stuff. Removed and checked the front discs and pads and cleaned some rust of the calipers. Also re 'blacked' the bumpers! Pretty easy with the heat gun really!.. Just very time consuming!

I didn't get a before picture of the front bumper, But here's one half way through

Here it is after

Rear bumper before..

And starting to re do the bumper..

It looks a bit patchy in the pics but in the 'plastic' it looks good!

Good job

My daughter had a Ka as her first car too but in "sun faded" red. One bottle of t-cut later and it looked loads better..

Autoglym bumper gel restore, 5 minutes and you would have been done, works a treat and lasts pretty well.

Hmm.. I've used that before and it washed off after each wash! Can't really afford to keep buying it aswell! This way the heat brings the oil in the plastic up to the surface and brings the nice shine! The front bumper I did just after Christmas and it hasn't faded at all!
