You are comparing a standard AMG with a modded Cossie. The car below is a AMG with 700bhp/700ft-lb it would simply have disappeared like a rat up a drain. Cars appear fast when they have the beating of the other guy.
The picture was taken at a UK Topspeed event that Merc came 6th a very fast car.
If you look carefully a White Saff Cosworth rear end can be seen in the crowd of cars .

 

i think they are they guys that had my magenta saff last year.. looking at their videos my old car will be in for a hard life.. if its still alive that is..

To be honest I think they use their other ones more often, I've only seen your old one on road once and it happened to be a sunny day to.

 

tbf old boy rodders that amg its gotto be atleast 480ish bhp std besides in there other vids they have got a 700bhp one im not saying its the same amg racing that cossie but yeah similare power lol anyways im not by anyway saying mercs are shit but that cossie does look awsome pulling away and why do I want to see a rear end of a white cossie when iv got mine that I see every day lol and iv gotto say that white one is mental spining all fours though,

they do seem to use them hard.. i couldnt believe the 3door spinning round in that tiny street and out on a main road.. if that was in my road the police would be their in minutes.. the white 4x4 certainly gets going too..

 

Pretty rapid!! How much does it cost to buy and tune one of theose mercs though, I'd say the cos if a fair bit cheaper, and you end up with a blue collar supercar, surely why most cossie owners actually own theirs?

 

soon as hear cossie comes to my mind as hooligan lol fairplay to them the whole area prob nows these guys.When i was 10 i remember RS storm that car used to shift like shite of the showel lol anybody around brum remmembers the s bends and used to be A star with a 3dr cossie that was fast aswell dont see it anymore though

 

i bet if you put 10k into the merc you'll be pulling away from most higher powered cars, can't say 10k in a cossie would get you there on new parts, but the price tag on the merc would be higher none the less.

That cossies must be serious to pull from an e55 amg like that, i drove one a couple of months back and they seriously shift! Good value too the guy only payed 6.5k for an 03' plate
