Are all sierra electric window switches the same? they look the same from the top, i need a set for my cossie

mk2 Sierra that had front and rear electric windows should be fine, XR, Ghia, 2000e etc.

Yes, so long as the source model has full leccy windows as said, and for extra points the rears are the same as a MK3 Fiesta

Have you no switches at all or they stopped working?

I took mine apart and cleaned them up, worked fine after that.

take them apart, they carbon up on the contacts and stop working

just be VERY CAREFUL when you pull it apart, the little bits go EVERYWHERE

Then it's most likely something else, i.e. motor or regulator?

The problem with the switches is A) the beeswax inside dries out and B) Fords lack of relay's means the entire load is switched via the switches which is what leads to the arcing etc.

no mate its the switch, i tested the drivers window wires on window 2 contacts and it worked

Oh fair enough, cleaning the switch should sort this though as they only have sprung loaded copper tracks inside essentially.
