Hole In Dashboard Can Anyone Tell Me What It Is?

I've just got a ST170 but noticed a hole in the dash.
Can anyone tell me what it is please?

they dont come like that bud previous owner has done that maybe alarm/immobilliser bulb or for a cable

It's a hole for sunlight sensor for climate control, should be like a blurry/purple colour

Thanks, does it connect to anything?
I can't see any connectors or leads in the hole.
If anyone has a photo of one that would be very helpful.

i reckon somebody thought what the fook is that, and levered it off. Before realising that it's got wires attached.
