saff eletrical issues
oklet me start my friend bought a saff that hadennbutched by somonewho didding have a clue sohe bought a seconed hand loom but we seamto be having a few issues
the only earth points we can find are the 3on the coloum support one on either head light and one in the passanger foot well are ther suposed to be any more?
heater fan runs constantly when ignition is switch on?
brake lights work when the ingition is off but not when on
can any oneconfirmthe colours the ingition barrel are suposed to go to when leaving the block conoctor
also have a red and blue wire with a yellow seleve on the in side bulk head behind the dash any ideas where this goes?
a brown and blackin the drives foot well somting to dowith the light reminder as when connected to earth it comes on but even with alldoors closed and ingition on still making a noise?
any help much appreachated

There is another earth on the drivers side footwell
Pictures of the ignition block would help as it may be a case that the loom is from a different year car or a different model spec
Also, what year is the car? And they have 2 different basic looms for low spec and high spec cars as well as different for injection and non injection plus the high spec loom also comes with door and warning sensors plus various different bits and bobs based on what was fitted to the car at the times oso a cat and non cat loom on the later cars are noticeably different
You also have 3 sets of different loom plugs across the years, round, square and triangular as the years go on so its very easy to find the fault, but if you have the wrong loom it may be easier to wire the whole loom in correctly for starters

So you need a late loom from a 92 ghia for starters as the main loom for the car
The engine loom is seperate but you should be able to get things sortted with that
