Cheers chaps, it was coughing a bit due to knackered plugs and an iffy ignition amp there, hopefully get some better video's this summer, especially now i have use of a go pro and suction mount!

This the run with over 930bhp with 690bhp engine + circa 250bhp of gas.
This is the quickest the car ever went such a pity it didnt complete the run. It resulted in a cracked Block.

Ye, I read in the boreham book apparently the '93 spec escort cossies were 360bhp (intrestingly they said when they ran with anti lag the reckoned they were producing about 50bhp less), autocar tested one of the escort rally cars and did 0-60 in 3.8 and 100 in 9.9

I remember buying the 1990 RAC rally review and being obsessed with it at the time lol, still have it in the loft, it had loads of really good in car footage of Malcolm Wilson with Nicky Grist as co driver when rally was still exciting imo, must dig it out again!!
