Are these option wheels? I have two that have no stampings on the face but Ronal, 6Jx15 H2 E35 and then something with 83 in the middle, on the back of the wheel.

Can you shed any light on this please.

 

If they are genuine Series 1 wheels then they have writing on 3 spokes - If they have no writing at all then it is most likely that they have been ground off before refinishing.

The very similar, but different, 1600i wheels only have wring on one spoke.

 

Yours are 1600i wheels - I missed the reference to "83" - Sorry

 

I know the 16i ones have writing on one spoke mate, looking at the back of the gem s1 wheels, the Ronal on the back is smaller the. The other two.

 

There were two different generations of 1600i wheel and this may account for your difference.

 

2 16i wheels and 2 s1 wheels, cool.

 

Grind all the writing off and they will look cool.

Or even better sell them and buy a set of escos wings.
