2002 jaguar x type V6 2.5 SE.

I know the past 2 owners of this car and its the cleanest one you'll see i guarantee. new cats, oxygen sensors (upper and lower) springs, custom cat back exhaust to suit the rear facelift bumper, facelift front bumper, bootlid with lip spoiler and mirrors are just some of the things he did to it. New leather interior too. Just needs a private plate to finish it off. The boot, bumper and entire front end paint is less than 18 months old and is FACTORY standard. The previous owner wanted it all to match. there aren't any blow in marks.

Mileage is around 125k, but its in daily use by a friend of my dads at the minute so this will vary slightly. MPG is around 23 round town, about 30 - 31 on a run so not as deadly as some will have you believe. proof?...

Bad points, theres a scuff on the front bumper the size of a 50p piece, it wont polish out its took the paint off. dont know how it happened i bought it like that.
The speedo has an intermittent fault. sometimes it drops to 0 whilst driving and then kicks in again a mile or few down the road. i was told this is an ABS sensor failing but as i'm not driving the car at the moment i cant get to it to see.
Someone has stolen one of the amber reflectors from the rear bumper. less than £20 from jaguar.







£1600 buys you a lot of motor. cheap datelss reg and you've got a 11k car for 2k.

Your not mate,these are actually really good cars but their going the way of the s type now which is banger territory.
This looks a great example and would make someone a great car but sadly 2.5 v6's are really hard to shift right now.
I think the dervs are still holding their money but one problem with the pump/injectors and that's any money you've saved gone.

We used to make the diffs for these in the Swansea factory,a very tough unit.
Perhaps advertise the fact it's rwd?

 

These are fwd or 4wd. Not rwd ?

 

Sorry mate,got it muddled up with the s type,we made the 4x4 transfer boxes for them and consequent rear diffs which were a lot smaller.

 

Was gunna say. If this was steering from the rear I'd be on my to buy it.

So much car for the money.
