Default Tyre size on Sapp cos

Any one using toyo r888s on 16 inch rims with 25et the Tyre size is 225/50/16 thanks for any info

Correct tyre size for a saph cossie is 205/50/15 not 16

I run 215/35/18 and 215/45/16 on my 2 sets

On track i've been using 225/45R16, on 8x16 et32, R888 and V70. My arches have been rolled though.

I suspect on et25 you'd have rubbing issues, particularly on the fronts.

I have a pair on et28 which i hope to use on the back without trouble.

Its just that when them r888 came today they look massive for a 16 inch tyre

Think they are bigger as i my mate had same wheels and set up as me all fine then he fitted r888's same size tyres as he was already using and they rubbed

Not had the wheels on car yet only just got them compomotive th was going to run 205/45/16 on front just trying to sort out tyres

Some manufacturers tyres are a different size to the one written on the tyre wall, not too sure why. My Avon ZV5 205-50-15s are actually 214 mm wide according to Avon themselves.
