Default 3dr fuel/brake lines

Trying to get hold of a set of the copper/brass fuel & brake lines for a 3 door that run from the rear of the car to the engine bay.
Looks like a rock or something has been kicked up and flattened one of them on mine just as they go under the front bulkhead.
Not sure which one it is, but i think it might be the fuel return, but not 100% sure so to be sure I'd like to try and get the full set (4 pipes)
I suppose I could try and cut the damaged bit out and replace it with some plastic pipe but that'd look shite i think.
Anyone got a set going for a reasonable price within driving distance (1 - 1.5 hr) of Reading? Don't think they're really suitable for posting so I'd need to come and get em in person

I could do, but the damage is in a really awkward place, the pipes are all shaped to go under and around the bulkhead. All 4 pipes are really close together as well so getting a joint in between them and making the new bit the right shape would be a real pain

The pipes are steel - if your going to the hassle of replacing the fuel lines then you may as well do the job right.

Go to a local steel merchants with either an off cut or correct sizes (outer so it'll go back in the the ford clips) if like the local company i use they have every single size so you'll get sorted buy the two lengths and they should cut them to size for you so measure the old including the bend up the bulkhead.

The buy 4x AN6 weld on fittings off ebay and silver solder on each end, if you have a company local to zinc coat them after so they'll outlast the car then you can run braided hose to both FPR and fuel rail in the engine bay and on the rear to the pump and tank

Sounds hard to do but it's really straight forward really

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. If I can't get hold of a standard set, then I'll have a go at replacing them either with braided lines, or getting some made up.

If you're getting rid of them Ronnie, i'd love them . Trouble is getting hold of them. Where are you?
If you're not too far away I could drive there. I don't think they're the sort of thing that's suitable for posting. Not sure what'd be left after Royal Mail had finished with them.

When are you going to be removing them?

yeah, not too bad. Bought my Mondeo from a Ford dealer in Basildon in September so know the way!
Give me a shout when they're all off and we can arrange a time. If it's a nice day, might even get the cossie out.

imo i really dont see the point in the steel ones unless your keeping your car original , i have copper ones and have had for ages with no problems , i ask what the benefit of the steel ones were before and no one told me , braided is cool but for a road car i would not use it but its really upto yourself as there are loads of diffrent ways

i wouldn't see dirt getting in the braid to be honest plus the Teflon stuff is plastic pipe with a stainless over braid so will out the car mate

Call me old fashioned, but I'm trying as much as possible to keep it original. Only outwardly different things so far are the exhaust (original fell to bits internally) and the rad header tank.

I don't doubt there are better, more modern ways of doing things and I'll fall back on them as a last resort. Just wanted to replace the one damaged pipe with an original item, just to keep it looking neat.

Brilliant. How soon do you want to get rid of 'em.

Won't be able to get to you until next weekend at the earliest (wife's job list permitting!)

Hi Ronnie. You about tomorrow?
Going to Rochester to pick up a new bike for my son, so as I'm in that neck of the woods could divert afterwards and come and pick up the pipes if they're still available?
