Default Best guess wheel price

How much to get a body shop to paint a set of wheels? I will be doing some prep and high build primer I will just need a body shop to spray them silver?

Will they do it, and what would it cost?? Am I better leaving prep to body shop, if that's the case then I'm likely to get into refurb cost territory

A friend of mine had his RS turbo alloys refurbed for Ł50 a wheel.

If that helps.

Just go in and ask them, sure you'll cut out some of the cost prepping yourself but if they don't turn out too well they'll obviously say it's down to your prep work.

Local place does full dip blast and coat for less than 50 a wheel. Was just wondering what cost to spray as if its 50 quid a set then I'll do it.....or am I in cuckoo land

To be honest, if you are paying for a pro to lay the top coat down, then I'd let them do the lot. If something happens to the wheel then they will just blame your prep work.

I have painted a few sets of wheels in the past and to be honest by the time you have bought all the materials and with the time taken to do it, you may as well just get a pro to do them for you!

i would get them powdercoated it lasts a hell of a lot longer on wheels than paint does and usually works out cheaper
