i think the splitter and wheels really make the car and the engine bay looks to have a had some keen attention to detail inflicted on it! Only thing i that would really make the car would be treating that rust on the arch and giving the exhaust a good polish!

If you dont have a buffer, there are some places that will mirror polish the whole thing for a few quid to a high standard.

 

I've had it around september last year. it was quite standard when i got it. I will try and frind some pictures when i first got it.

It's only a stage 1 at the mo still on yellows running at 16psi. Will be going greens and a 3bar soon.

this reminds me so much of my first saff i got when i was 18!

flint grey, ambers and on 17" stealths, stage 1 also

just had been painted when i bought it and shined like yours, polished it every week and loved it so much

best bit for me on your car is the blue cam cover

Thanks mate, it took me a while to pick a good blue but I didn't want a standard blue I wanted to be a little different

I had clears on before but I'm a big fan of Ambers but do you think I should do the rears amber too?

 

Thanks for the comments guys. I have taken a lot of pictures of the work I have done so far so when I get time I will start a project thread.

 

Normally I would say ambers at the back too, but with your colour I think it pulls off the smoked rear end very well so maybe leave it as is? You choice though my friend, as it is your car.

Can I ask which splitter it is you have on there, where you got it from, and how much it was?

Yeah I might put the Ambers on a see if I like it.

The splitter is a "Rouse style" it's on eBay the part number is 130710955877 plus it fits really well too!

The price is a little heavy but it does set the car off

Car looks the nuts mate don't normally like them rouse splitters but I think it reall suits your car

Like the Ambers, in my opinion it would look even better with the rear lenses to match, would break the back end up a treat, nice car anyway

 

Try to angle the exhaust silencer upwards instead of down like it is now. Looks a bit weird the way it sits now

Much better, just needs that white sticker removing, dealer plates and the exhaust polished up

 

Cool thanks, I will get on the exhaust tomorrow. I can't get rid of the sticker or plate as that's the garage I work for so my boss might get a little upset.

 

I still stand by my previous comment that it suits the smoked rears,

however...,

I do prefer it with ambers on the arse end!

Wow thats my old car haha looking nice mate.
i bought it in 05 with the clears on it but the guy boxed up all the ambers and other bits for me i HAVE to have ambers on my 2wd saphs its the LAW

Flint suits the clears/tints too in my opinion so i did swap over to clears for about a week lol .

 

This was in 2005 when i bought her , It never changed in my hands i love the original look.Horrible quality piccy sorry.
