i picked up a h reg ford orion mk4 ghia i for £155 no mot or tax but 11,000miles full servece history 1owner from new

the plan ideas so far are a zvh turbo engin rs front bumper bonnet 16si alloys rs seats if thay will fit lower it change the front brake s change rears to discs and a blue paint job eny help or comments please

so far i have got the 16si alloys need a refurb and tyres a compleate rs turbo engin and a compleate 2.0blacktop engin long way to go yet

this is the area im gona start with i whana build the engin first pics to follow of what im up to right my orion is A 1.6EFI how and what needs doing to get the zvh engin to run right also where can i get parts from for doing the zvh and what parts are needed what and where do you start with when building a zvh what bhp can you get lots of help needed please i will get pic up as soon as i start stiping engins down

 

rs turbo seats will bolt in mate ,so will bumpers bonnet good luck with build ,I used 2ltr focus rear brakes on mine .discs an calipers an made brakets but you can buy them on ebay brackets that is

Good luck with the project mate, if your going to the trouble of building a zvh if I were you id just go full zetec, especially as your Orion is already efi

Looking forward to seeing this we don't see enough orions anymore and I do hope it won't be the same blue as mine lol. There are loads of different routes to go down with regards to the engine build and everyone will have there own opinions as to which way to do things. Personally as I have done all that you are about to do, I would not go zvh, it won't last you will end up going zetec turbo in the end and its just as easy to do in fact easier ! I started zvh and have been full detective for over 2 years now look at everyone on here building fast fwd Ford zetecs Dean,Gary,Clarkee,Luke,me and more it's the way to go and not just for big power. Also if you want any bits for a zetec build I have just changed my spec so have some good bits up for grabs lol

sorry on the delay by the end of the week my camra broke just waiting on new camra to turn up thanks for the comments so far

 

well i ended up on crutchs last week so stoped my puting pictures up thay are on the camra and over the next few days il go get my camra and get pics up have got a few bit for it so will get some pics and get that up i read a post some where cant find it now on puting a zetec in a mk4 orion guide if some can link it would be hadey also have made my mide up im gona put a 2ltr silvertop zetec in it can i run my efi on it or how do you do it then im gona get it on the road use it for a while sort the body work out do the bit i want then when i got the money do a zetec turbo insted of a zvh but pics are on the way

 

Engine will go in a piece of piss i've done a zetec(silvertop) conversion, zetec turbo(blacktop) and rs2000 into a j reg mk2 orion use the cvh engine mount all you need is to cut a small piece off of the cvh engine mount to make it fit. Good luck

iv just been on and set up a photobucket so when i do a bit more will get some pic s up right today i picked up a 2ltr silver top from a mondeo can i use a 1.6 silvertop sump flywheel on the 2ltr and what about wireing and efi set up to get it to run i wont to run it as a 2ltr silvertop for the first 12months then do a turbo convershon but will give me time to gaver bits up and what dose every one think keep it original colour or have it resprayed light metaclic blue
