Had this sent to me today by a photographer from my 1st round of the year at Prescott.

Hard to tell from the photo but it was hammering it down got it all locked up coming into Ettore's although my foot was saying keep pressing the pedal harder and you'll stop! Luckily my brain won the arguement and I took my foot off the brake pedal and it turned in, but another 6 inches and I think I would have been doomed

I thought i'd cut it close at the time but never relised just how close till I saw this photo.

The photographer only sent me this low res sample copy I can have a high res one without the writing for a tenner.

Theres not much of a gravel pit/grass verge before the tire wall/plastic embankment.

Usually its bigger or further back incase of things like this happen.

 

Normally there's nothing!

 

That's as much as you get probably alittle more run off at Pardon everywhere else it's just armco or grass bank or in the case of the last bend at Semi Circle a big old drop down the side of a steep bank.

You don't get much closer than only having half a tyre on the tarmac!
You get better grip with 888's thou mate

 

I did something similar at keppel gate on the TT couse.... one of the most scary things I have done!
