I want a rs500 splitter for my 3 door , not a genuine one cos my pockets aren't that deep!
So what copy's are good and who are they from ?
Who has them on there car and were they ok to fit?

Ian herons ones are the best ,he is the guy you see at national day with them on a saff bumper and a 3 door bumper to show how well they fit,think they are about £120 made of fiberglass and come satin black,all properly moulded under the bumper lip aswell so nice and easy to fit,i chopped up one of his to fit on my s2 and after chopping it about the fit was still spot on

bought mine carbon fibre from ebay couple yrs back was 250 notes thou but looks the bollox an fit was good 2!!

 

Same here, my carbon one fits really well but like you said £250!

 

Got one in my garage somewhere, and one on the 3 Door.
Will do some pics when daylight and weather good enough.
Hoped the spare would fit my Sapphire but it wont doh!!

my fibre glass one fits perfectly but as its made from white fibre glass i am forever spraying it satin black as a trip to one show has hundreds of tiny white stone chips, it drives me insane

i would love a carbon one but £250 wow

 

I bought mine from cosworth58 on ebay, not a bad fit but ill have the same problem as the above as again its white fiberglass. But it was only cheap, cant remember exactly as i bought a genuine 3 dr bumper off of him too. It comes in three pieces, and left and right and a little centre piece. May use it, may not. Ill see what else comes up.

I have an Xsport Kevlar one with black gel coat , the fit was great and no stone chips to worry about. I can't remember how much it was but I had opted for a cheap eBay one £75 and it had no lip to fix it to the standard bumper!

 

That's the one I got first and its not a 500 shape either

 

i wonder if there is something you could paint a fibreglass one with that would not chip? i dont know if you can see in this picture but i wrapped mine in carbon wrap but a year down the line its coming off, i wonder abour spraying it with gloss hammerite smoothrite then spraying satin black , that way hopefully it would not show white chips

Yep,I have the same one from Ian Heron,mines still brand new in the box..lol.
They are excellent quality and as mentioned they are gel coated so as Brammer said shouldn't require painting every 5 mins.
