3-door / RS500 genuine parts
Hello, Just joined. Thought you guys may be interested in some stuff I've had for some time now. I own a 3-door cossie with RS500 everything. All the car was missing was 8-injectors and all that goes with it.
That was until last year when I purchased everything I needed. Only thing was, I started a new job straight after (working out of the country most of the time). I have no time to finish the project, and plan to sell everything very soon.
Parts will be: Genuine RS500 8-injector plenum; 8 greens; all surrounding sensors including genuine RS500 fuel pressure regulator; all required boost hoses + spares; L8 ECU with Pectel 8-injector baby board; wiring harness; 3 seperate chips (however I recommend that the engine this stuff goes on gets dyno'd).
The car will be put through an MOT just shortly, and will also be for sale. It is a 1986 3-door cosworth:-
Body:
The bodywork is in near concours condition. No surface rust. No stone chips (well there is one), but the bumper was last painted in 1997.
Genuine RS500 front bumper + splitter
Genuine RS500 Whale tale and lower lip spoiler
Genuine RS500 go-faster strip
No fog lights, just the RS500 grilles
Rare 1 off 17" allow wheels + toyo tyres
Suspension + Brakes:
Leda springs
Koni adjustable shock absorbers
Strut brace
Engine:
Brand new 200 block in 1997 (<4000 miles since then)
T4 Turbo with 360o Thrust bearing (no play)
Twin fuel pumps
Scorpion stainiless steel exhaust
Spec R alloy header tank; washer bottle; power steering tank; oil breather; turbo damper;
Non Genuine RS500 intercooler
Big wing alloy sump
BD14 inlet; BD10 exhaust cam with verniers
Millington ported + polished head
Inlet manifold gas flowed and matched to head
L8 ECU with pectel Baby board + Ahmed Bayjoo chip
Mahl low comp pistons machined further skimmed by Harvey Gibb
Wire rung block
Lightened + balanced crank + rods
4 grey injectors
Also included will be Private plate - C7OSY
I'm 24 and the car costs me <£500 a year to insure through HIC (Classic car policy). The only time the car has been driven in the rain is if I have been cought out far from home. My friends joke about how little I use this car.
Now for the good part. I cannot be bothered with time wasters, so when the car does go up for grab's, it will be for £7,500+ and only available for people holding the cash to view.
I'm open to offers for the parts. I have receipts for absolutely everything.
