Its a nice motor, Not perfect and needs a little tidying but nothing that can't be sorted.
Will be having a stage 1 linear map on it saturday

 

Love these, one of the few hatches I don't mind in a 5 door too.
What sort of money if you don't mind me asking?

 

It was advertised for Ł3500 but there are a few little issues,
There is a little hole in the drivers seat bolster, Rear tyres will need changing in a few months and there is a graze on the lower rear bumper, Not bad though. Easily fixable in my mates spray shop.

He settled near the Ł3k mark in the end.
Just had a rebuilt turbo though. It pulls really nice and with bit of work it will be a great car. I have viewed others in the Ł4k area and was going to travel to Devon for one but
I got a text from the owner of this one ( I viewed it at the weekend ) saying that after a bit of thought he wanted to take my offer. Took deposit today and Ill collect it thursday.

a lot of car for not a lot of money my mate had just the normal cupra and that went well with stage 1 like these a lot

 

I will be getting this mapped by AMD very soon,

I already have a new Toyo Sport FMIC from a previous project so Ill stick that on.
Will have a Forge 007p recirc valve, Full Exhaust with 3" downpipe and 3" TIP ordered as soon as the car is in my procession.
Should be good for about 280bhp then.


I will also have to order a set of rods to go any further than that.

That looks really smart,

I really wanted to get back into the Ford scene but there just isn't anything I like,
Well I like the mk1 focus RS but since I don't have a garage and would need to park it on the road I thought it best not to,

 

I've got a cupra r aswell. Nice car but seems to constantly want attention for silly things. Dare I say more than my Renault 5 gt turbo .

 

Pretty much all the 1.8t's need tlc some point,
I intend to replace all the breather and vac lines as most of the running issues seem to be caused by them.

 

The engine has been fine, its the other stuff like electronics that throw up lights. It's a love hate relationship with it.
