I love that. Been very tempting to switch to trucks of late, been looking at a lot of kits. Mind you haven't had time to even look at my models since October.

Great build

That's ace! Thanks for posting this up, I have this same model in my loft.

I never built it up, as I was stuck with the green/white devide on the cab.

How did you kow where to paint to? with the green.

I know the stickers go over the join but theres no guide lines etc.

I've had it in my loft 10 years

It was a bit tricky to do.I used the box art and pictures on google image as a guide and I also cut the transfers out very carefully that cover the join line between the green and white sections and offered them up the the un built cab sections and stenciled around them so I got a pencil line across each of the cab sections that would become the join line. Then I held the front and sides of the cab together just to make sure the join line was running straight and true across all three sections.(front left and right).I used airfix maskol and masking tape around each of the top half sections to spray the green areas and once they was dry I the repeated the same again for the white half but without the maskol this time just masking tape.Didnt know how the maskol would react to the freshly painted part.Once all sides was dry and then glued together you should have a nice green and white line running all around the cab and because the transfers was used as a template they should cover the lines no problem.

Thanks for the detail reply mate, I'll have a go one day lol

I did post pics on a model truck forum once, and got haters replying saying the cab isn't correct cab used by Stobart etc

Proper anal replies lol

I loved it when I saw it in the shop that's why I bought it, would like to see it in a shelf built in my house one day.

Yeah no need. Its your model you can paint it any colour you want,I have loads of times. If someone doesn't like it then keep it too themselves and not rip into someone else's effort.I have seen loads of models painted from slap dash to looking realistic but that person has done the best they can and that's all that matters.Sometimes model painting bores the hell out of me.

I've not started it mate, not painted it etc

The pics I placed on the forum were of it in a box, they were saying the Scania model wasn't used by Stobart or something, can't remember exactly now, they were proper Stobart spotters
