Hi lads.

Just to let you know i'm organising a little rolling road day for Fords at Circuit motors, Castle Combe on Saturday April 6th.

It'll be £30 per car on the day, including printout.

It started as a get together for RS2000 16v's, but I have 3 focus RS's a Fiesta and even some old school turning up.
The more the merrier, hopefully be a nice meet in the south west to start the show season.

Actually, all the cars are 2wd at the moment.

Might even have to park a few at the circuit down the road, I believe there's not that much room outside the actual garage.

On the plus side, i'm going to see if I can get a photographer to take a few snaps on the day. Should be good if we get the numbers and weather!

Mainly because parking is tight and we'll be running out of room fast!

As it was originally an RS2000 16v thing, i'd like to give them priority on the rollers.

RichieST, MAD Ade & Cossie891, you're more than welcome to turn up as it looks a good little Ford gathering.
There will be plenty of cars there, but I'd just like to say there's a possibility of not getting 'roller time'.

Please don't let this put you off, I just don't want anybody being too disappointed.

It was organised as an RS2000 16v day out, but everyone is welcome.

I've just said that we'll get the RS2k's out of the way first, then the rollers will be open to everyone.

Quick update.

I've spoken to Paul at Circuit motors today and unfortunately have to confirm due to a technical fault, he cannot run 4x4 vehicles on his rollers.

I think there was only 2 4x4's on my list, but I'm sorry if there was anyone else planning to turn up if the weather was good.

You're all still more than welcome to come along and laugh at my car blowing up tho!

 

Just under 2 weeks to this.
Hopefully things will warm up and the rain will hold off.

It'd be nice to get a good turn out to start the season.

There are 3 rwd cars to run and 2 escort rs 2000's so prob mid afternoon finish I would think. So far the highest I'm aware of is 424bhp mk 2 Focus RS. But they are giving out the graphs at the end so there may be a surprise.
