Default MPG and the effects of Bluefin on Focus ST170

(sorry if this has been asked before)

Looking to Bluefin my ST170 to hopefully increase the MPG.

Has anyone already done this? Do you have MPG before and after?

Just looking to see if it's actually worth it and work out how long it would take to pay for itself.

At the moment i'm getting 29MPG with a standard ST170.

Not really bothered about BHP increase as it's not a lot.

Bluefins are currently £199 for ST170.

Thanks All

I installed this on my 170 it ironed out the flat spots and I would say made the car run much smoother with no more than a extra 5mpg, the 170 is good car just too thirsty

I have to say i nearly didn't buy one due to all the posts about mpg being rubbish but it's not as bad as i though it would be!

An extra 5mpg would do me good!

Will a new panel air filter help to?

Yes, get an auto air deflector too for a bit more cool air

Done a quick search for this on eBay and couldn't find any thing specific for the ST170.

Where does it fit to? Is it like a snorkel?

Do you have a link to one for sale or a picture?

i have just recently installed bluefin map for high octane fuel it has transformed the car i leave standard 170s behind i know some of the st 170s were lacking in bhp standard i must have a good one because the car is quick,Also my flat spots have gone engine runs better and sounds better its how an st170 should have been from factory!
i am doing 300 miles to a tank mixed driving incl a bit of welly and 350 to a tank if drive realy sensible. which is pretty much the same as before.

I've got a cybox exhaust and K&N panel filter...

Before bluefin I was doing about 230 miles to a tank..now with bluefin I'm doing 270.

Plus car is quicker and more fun.
