Needed to take some pics of my car to send off to the insurance so went for a little run earlier, haven't had chance to really do anything with the car as of yet, haven't even had time to polish it yet!!

Anyway, thought I'd post them up cos the other ones weren't great, hope you like!





















I suppose you could call this the first mod lol, I bought some new blue centre caps for my TH2's that were on the Sapph and never got round to fitting them, so I tried them on and I'm unsure, opinions??

To cut a long story short lol, they agreed to pay out, then they changed their minds, then the RSOC got involved and they agreed to pay out again, thankfully lol.

It looks really nice Karl and like i've said before it's a cracking car, the paint looks perfect and it's a virtually completely done car.

Regarding the leads, i agree and i'm sure Matt Lewis is dong the uprated leads in black now which would be a nice touch but under the bonnet looks different (good) with the tanks in grey.

Crying out for RS500 rear spoilers, not to rep the car up it's black car's look a little odd with standard 3dr spoiler for some reason in comparison to white and moony

Thanks Chris, I will get the spoilers at some point mate, maybe later in the year, just trying to concentrate on selling stuff at the mo, like I said above, I haven't had time to do anything with it yet with one thing and another, I'll be glad when everything's sold lol

As for the leads, I'm thinking of keeping the wasted spark and getting some of those black leads that Matt does, although I'm not sure cos of the possible rev counter issues it can cause, we'll see, cheers for the comment mate, I can't really take any credit for it though lol

What rev counter issues?

 

Looks really good fela hard as nails

 

Some rev counters play up with it mate, there's a mod you can do to the printed circuit which is supposed to sort it though, when i put it on the sapph it worked ok for a couple of weeks and then stopped working, but that turned out to be a component on the wasted spark board overheating, soldered a new one on and it was fine ever since.

I was told to do something by Ryan when fitting my loom and W/S and it worked absolutely perfect since, it's well worth it though as it's one of those annoying Cosowrth issues not to worry about

 

Really is the full package for me, Looks and performance and just a genuine mint example!

I personaly love the blue caps as it breaks up the Black! Think the stealth aka gothic look has been done to death lol!

Give me a heads up when your starting polishing and will send up some treats my bufty bro

Definitely mate, its a great mod, tbh I'd like to change it to a L8 ecu, get a closed loop chip and have wasted spark, I was getting 36mpg on my T38 spec on a run with closed loop!!
What was the thing you were told to do mate? Or is it top secret?

Gonna try to have a little clean up session tomorrow, there's a few water marks on it which you can't see in the pics, I've been spoilt for the last few years with a white car lol, this shows up everything lol.

Glad you like the centre caps, I bought them for when I got the th2s done silver but it never happened lol.
