I have a L6 ecu.
I am upgrading to a L8.
I have seen a P8.
Is this better than a l8 or is a L8 the one I want.

 

P8 is better but your fine with a L8.

I run L8 on both my cars. Remember you'll have to change your TPS if you do this.

 

As above, I have a 2wd engine and loom, and use a L8 ecu.

All that is needed is the outer wires of the tps to be switched,
(preferably use a pf09 tps)

If I am not mistaken, the same needs to be done when using a P8 ecu, anyone that knows more is welcome to correct me !!

 

So I can use a P8 ecu.
Its that I can get a P8.

 

Ok cheers the thread I put up said a P8 is better than a L8.

Its just that I can get a P8 quite cheap.

I just want to get the best I can between L8 n P8.

I will be re chipping the p8 with one of your chips.
Its early days but I fancy black siemans and the corresponding chip on a P8/L8.

would a P8 be better taking this into account.

 

L8 and P8 are equally good except you have more options on a P8 hence it will be a better option.

 

Im going for a L8.

It will be easier to tune.
