Default 106 cosworth

After around 5 yrs of ownership i have just found out the original spec of the car from the guy that actually built it in the first place lol

Engine had only done around 2000miles and was a new block, even has the stamped cosworth engine number on the log book so that tallys up.

Cosworth YB. 200 engine
Garett T3 turbo
All new lightened and balanced bottom end
Low compression pistons
Gas flowed head
BD10 cams
Standard 4x4 dark blue injectors management
Side exit exhaust fullt wrapped in Thermatec heat wrap
Samco boost hoses

Standard 4x4 Cosworth front and rear
Cosworth handbrake assembly
Braided lines
Peugeot master cylinder and bespoke pedal box

Deflex polybushes throughout
Aluminium roller top mounts
Avo adjustable 2 1/4 coilovers 275lbs front and 160lbs rear

17 inch Compomotive TH2 wheels
Avon ZZ3 205/40/17 tyres

Probably would have been a good reliable lump at around 400bhp, when i bought it the engine was just ran in so was on relitavely low boost.

Kind wish id left the thing alone.lol

Its still a fair way off but its currently with EscortGaz for paint completely rolling, then just the usuall drill for putting back together, body work wise eveything is there etc, only major part it needs is a box but i will purchase that when ready for it.

Its taken a long time to get it to where it is for various reasons so i cant wait for it to be painted, its carbon roof fitted and wheels re done, its a rolling car so all the running gear is bolted up, fuel tank, rad, intercooler all fitted etc

To see this car move again under its own steam will be one of the biggest days of my life! i never once thought it would be so difficult to build a car and to be so much hassle and stress, once complete and done i will finally be able to relax.
