Default Getting flat tyre bead back on rim edge DIY.

Theres a massive pot hole near my house that ive had to go through at about 15 mph due to some gay cunt twatface pulling out on me.

The bang was enough to make the tyre flat. Luckily i was literally just about to pull over at home.

the tyre bead has come off the rim and pushed inwards under the weight of thw wheel so i cant pump it up to relocate the bead on the rim.

Are there any tricks to get the tyre back on the rim DIY?

ive got pry bars i can use as a makeshift tyre lever.

Foot pump cant build a pressure up like you would in a tyre shop.

Lighter fluid and boom, it will sort it, but keep a bit of distance if you can.
Alternative is pop wheel off and go to an airline.

The way I used to do it with aircraft tyres was to put a long ratchet strap around the centre circumference of the tyre and tighten. As it pushes the middle of the tyre in, the bead will be pushed outwards.

Same could be done with a bit of lashing tape or rope etc.

I've done this with easy start on our quad bike tyre; I'd seen it done on Top Gear and didn't know if it would work but we were at our holiday home on the Isle of Tiree and had my two boys desperate for the quad to go. It worked great and nobody got singed eyebrows!!

Use a pumped up small bike tube lubed with washing up liquid (got to be tight on the rim to seal )it bridges the gap and pops off as the tyre inflates.

managed to do it without high explosives in the end bounced it around off the car for a bit and whacked it about and my mates powerful compressor was good enough to keep up with and exceed the air leak and POP it when back into place.

i had trouble with a escort van tyre once, 165/80/13 or something like that, took it down ats for assistance and he beat the inner bead on with a bolster chisel and lump hammer & then inflated it no problems. I was suprised by his method but it work, not sure i'd try it on an expensive tyre though..

take it off and get it to a garage ( not a petrol forecourt) with a proper airline. bang it on the floor if the tyre is flat spotted and put the air in. if its pissing out bang the tyre and wheel against the floor. It will seal again and inflate as normal.

Or just try banging it off the floor whilst rotating it a few times. this has worked for me in the past, although not with low profile tyres. you need to get it off the floor though and preferably off the car to make it easier. your wasting your time with it on the deck. i've done this with lorry tyres and it works evey time. jack it up, airline in and whilst its pissing out kick the tyre as hard as you can a few times and the bead will seal.
