Steve
Not being funny Paul but if you post parts for sale like Mark has with the above car which has some nice bits then to have a look back on here to see whats what wouldnt hurt, otherwise why post it on the busiest Ford forum on the planet????

Steve
Im only trying to help
I think people think breakers sit at the computer all day waiting for replies
I have had this so many times myself that people are interested in parts but by the time i have looked back at a thread the part has sold by somone who called
Good uprated parts sell fast and if you snooze you lose
All im saying is if you dont want to lose then be quick , and being quick means picking up the phone not waiting until you get a reply you might never get
dont forget that this very same car will be advertised on other websites like pistonheads ebay etc where you cant reply to the advert , so because of this a lot of traders treat every website as a means to advertise rather than a chat website , ie, they place the add and forgett about it until the phone rings
and for all of you who say that the world has changed and the internet is now the way to trade ,,bollocks ,, this kind of trade is still very much old school and the phone is still king of comunication , the net is just a great way to advertise

Or you could just pick up the phone and buy the parts you want
I get grief because i dont do emails etc , but i always manage to sell everything without them so people saying they wont use me is no losss
as here shows , everything has sold , so its not as tho he is going to lose sleep over a few on PF who cant use there phone
I know mate , But if you want the parts and want to be first then your a fool if you send a pm / email and hope nobody beats you to it
If i see somthing i want im on the blower asap
Anyway , not my advert and not my losses or gains , Im just trying to help buyers understand that this old school proffesion works in old school ways as well as modern
