I've had the rear seats in my audi a4 estate folded down flat this morning , some how it appears the centre seat belt has become Jammed an the belt has tensioned itself now not allowing the seat to return to the upright position , has any one got any goods ideas how I may able to correct this with out having to get to drastic an chop the belt .. I have tried googling it but to no avail ...

You cant get to any of the fastening bolts as the seat belt is pulled tight across the seat allowing very little movement from the folded down position ! It's not your conventional lap belt style set up , in the a4 the ratchet mechanism & drum is fixed inside the seat !
Try getting a screw driver and clicking the latch shut (both clicks).
I know on the mondeo the centre seat belt will not pull out unless the seat is locked into place so maybe this has happened. just trick the seat into thinking it is latched so the centre belt will pull out.
