Hi all
new to site , been a while since had a ford , done the vag/jap thing for a few years , but now new born so back with a mondy tdci ghia 55 plate .
was nice an clean till it got hit in sainsburys car park , so looking for a site to find info an advice
.
need to replace rear pass door an rear bumper . so first question is
is it a straight swap for st parts , or are they different fitment

no, far from happy , this time last year had a classic wrx , an bug eye wrx hatch an a monster of a discovery off roader , then wife said iam pregnant ,my ass fell out an sold everything as wife of work for a year an new born , an now a tdci haunts my drive ,
so trying to make the most of a bad car , so any advice would be great-full
so yes after advice to see if the st mk 3 mondeo bumpers fit straight on or do i have to change the wings
an can someone tell me what the ride height is on the st tdci please

Going by the amount of posts on here about problems with them, I'd hardly say were brilliant!

To answer the OP's question, I'm pretty certain that the ST shell is exactly the same as the normal models so all the bits should go on ok.

sorry must have made a mistake , i dont have a st tdci , i have a normal TDCI ghia , but looking at doing a st rep , thats what i meant when asking if parts bolt
straight on . cheers

Pretty sure the ST220 has wider wings so bumpers wouldn't fit. The Zetec S kit would be best as it would match up to the standard wings and looks similar to the st220.

Yep front wings are different to allow the wider front st bumper

Get the zetec s bumpers and keep your wings

Its just the St220 that is different due to wider wings and bumpers, get everything you need from a St TDCi as its all just a straight fit then.

A mk3 diesel Mondeo has its good points (yes really) -

Are you planning any power-enhancing mods? (to reduce your misery slightly )
