stuck injectors on HDI 2.2
haven't tryed to get mine out yet to do the head-gasket but been forewarned that there a nightmare as they kinda weld themselves into the cylinder head, only way to release them is by using a Hydraulic injector removal kit costing more then the cars worth lol!!! anyone any advice besides Skip the whole car ..

I think they can be hired out but my advice is still to break what you can and bin the beast.
Get a Passat pd tdi or an older mondeo 1.8td to replace it for trouble free motoring.

only advice i could give is
take the securing bolt(s) off, try to remove
if it wont budge pour some cocacola round the base of it
leave it overnight, then fire it up and give it a good hard rev
this sometimes works(done it a few times now)
sounds daft but it is a scientific proven method
something in the coke breaks down the carbon build up and it can soften it up a bit to help it go
might not work, but worth the price of a can of coke to try it

My boss had a C5 with 150000 miles and it kept flagging up no3 injector,we used to clear the code and it was fine for a week or two, Then same again!!
Injector wouldn't budge at all
He ran it for 10000 miles with no injector clamp and it didn't even blow never mind move
Ended up putting it thru the block
good bye

some funny advise here guys but im unsure weather to bother trying or at least give it a go .. cars done over 160000 miles and whats most upsetting it runs lovely and drives spot on, just been looking on ebay to see how much bits are worth as in stripping it, was thinking of smashing the cam cover off to undoe the headbolts and sell the bottom end as a short block
