Hi,

I would like some advise from people on some wheels I have, lets be clear, this isn't a 'for sale' ad!

I just want peoples opinions on what a set of "Masility VTR 5 wheels (17")" are worth they are not in very good condition, one tyre is good, but the other 3 are not.

Imo, I think the best solution is to get them weighed in, but just want to make sure they are not a die hard wheel that is sought after, I very much doubt it.

The second question is does anyone know where you can get the illusive speedo seal for the T5 box, mine leaks and I would like to replace this if I can, I was going to use locktite, but after speaking to a respected RS garage, he told me this would be no good, as the fluid will simply leak through it (which I think may have been what's been tried in the past)

i reckon just because youve added the "lets be clear this isnt a for sale add" it wont make a difference and a mod will be sitting with his or her finger hovering over the delete button as we speak......

Ł50 nice wheel if there what im thinking simialr to kahn 5s

 

Mate had them on his Impreza, nice plain 5 spoke. Wanted a set myself but they were discontinued when I went shopping.

 

eBay or gumtree for alloys mart,everything like that goes for silly money on those sites,just only offer collection and cash in hand otherwise you get these PayPal fools who try to rob you blind.

Agree, after changing the spelling above google images came up with some nice pics of a red rs turbo series two with them fitted.

 

Put A request in the parts wanted section on passionford for the seal.

 

Thanks, I got the spelling above I from a receipt, as these wheels were on the car when I got it but I then fitted standard ones, I coulden't find the name via Google, so not sure how it's spelt.

have had a few sets of these over the years and are a dead ringer for the kahn rsr as steves pics show and the masitalys are a stronger wheel than the kahn, the majority were in french offset so the the ford et ones are thin on the ground, get yourself gold membership and you wont have to worriy about adding text "this is not a ford sale advert"
