Default rs turbo wiring loom advice help needed

hi guys, im building an escort turbo from just a bare shell. i need to buy a wiring loom for it. im unsure what engine to put in it cvh or zvh. im just wondering what loom to get? there seems to be a lot of mfi looms available, am i right to assume this loom wont work for a zvh conversion?

is there a certain year or mod to make it efi?

thanks for your help so far on this project

depends on what management you want to run, mate. its easy enough to chop the mfi loom out of a full s2 loom and splice a different engine management loom into it

iirc you could use the loom from an efi escort xr3i to fun fiesta turbo management but its bastard expensive to tune if you can find anyone to do it.

depending on what sort of power you're after, it's probably better to run cossie or aftermarket management imo

if i was to do a zvh or cvh could i use the mfi loom?

you can get 200 bhp from mfi with a few mods but it can be temperamental

if you want reliability, sack off the mfi and go efi imo. the mfi loom won't work on an efi set up

standard rods will restrict you to about 230-240 bhp but they will be running on their limit
