Alloys and tyres for hybrid mk2 fiesta
I am looking to get some new alloys for my mk2 fiesta. The problem is im running cosworth discs and calipers up front.
I'm lead to beileve i need 7x15 to cover the calipers and the right offset to clear the suspension to be et35 so no spacers required. The tyres i was thinking of was 195/50/15.
Can of you technical guys confirm this? I want to run the right size wheel and offset so i'm not using spacers and they fit in the arch and clear the suspension.
Cheers Steve

mk2s dont really have a lot of space for chunky tyres if running 15s, so for alloys to clear brakes you may need 195/40s and the et you mention seams about right

Put a set of mk4 escort rs turbo wheels on it.I think they suit the mk2 fiesta. You could also try a set om sierra sapphire cossie shark tooths.Thats if you can find some.
Think im going for the team dynamics 1.2 pro race in matt black. 7x15 with 45 tyres. My car is painted in the new frozen white. So black and white colours.
Ant particular companies are best to buy from? Recommendations? I've been looking at a company called rimstyle.

I had the same problem with my ERST, ERST wheels will NOT fit if you have 2wd 4 pots put up front. You can either have the front of the calipers machined down or use a et35 rim ie a cossie lattis. I would suggest getting a steel rule out and measuring exactly what the off-set is.
Dont forget if you have done a rear brake conversion, the rear disc kicks the back wheel into the arch buy about 5mm.
