Well since i sold my escos drift project due to everyone i know loosing interest including myself i have managed to persude my mate to part with his 3dr cossie.

I cought him ill and pissed up over the weekend and made the deal! I must admit he looked like he wanted to cry today when he dropped it off!

Its looking pretty sorry for itself but its now safely in my garage ready to start. PICS TO FOLLOW SOON!!!!

Im going to be on the look out for some parts soon and advice along the way so any help would be appreciated.

Set up a photobucket account mate, then add links

 

use photobucket or the passionford picture uploader found in the manage attachments, just make sure pics are a max of 800x600 or it makes pages run silly slow on loading

Well the new sheds arrived and its up and all racked out, I have freezer bags, masking tape and a marker pen so im ready to start stripping!

I built my double garage 2 years ago for this and theres nothing worse then working with crap everywhere!

Jig ordered and will hopefully be here next week.

Well its all stripped now and my rollover jig turned up today so cracked on and got it up on that, these things are worth every penny its gonna make life so much easier.

unbelievably every nut and bolt came off except two captives which i snapped but well happy with that.


Gonna upload some pics tomorrow as got a few now.

Hi all

Sorry still haven't sorted the pics out yet but i do have a few for ya! The car is all stripped and sat on the spit now and i have made a good start on it, the engine has been sent off and all the running gear is at the powder coaters!

Had some time off over christmas to get into it before it all goes mad again.

Had abit of a change in plans now as since the engine has gone off to the guy whos building it i have decided im going to go for 400sih bhp and really go to town on the car.

So i have decided that i will never be happy with all the new panels etc on my old shell as it has rust and its had some action too so i have made the decision to buy a new old stock shell which has never been on the road and is mint, all original panels, seam sealer, etc it will be perfect.

I know people are funny about reshelling but this car will be immaculate once done and could never be that if it was the old shell. dont get me wrong it will be getting used (as it was ment to be driven) but i want it right.

Any comment welcome guys.

 

Forgot to say that i have a few panels i will be listing in the for sale section.

-Genuine drivers wing
-Non gen passenger wing
-Front flitch repair panels upto the lamp panels
