Hi,
are Cossie rear 2wd & 4x4 hubs (drive flanges) interchangable? I know the stub shafts are different as a 2wd one recieves a 108mm drive shaft and the 4x4 a 100mm drive shaft.
I need to convert my car to be able to take the larger shafts and so need to change rear hub carriers & stub shafts. I need 5 stud flanges - these can come from a Granada Cosworth but are they compatible with the stub shaft as I am not sure if the splined bit is also different.
My other question is - can I put a 2wd cv joint at the diff end of a 4x4 drive shaft? I am not sure if the shaft diameter / spline dimensions are the same?
Any help is apreciated
